My second shooter (my husband) and I had the honor of photographing Austin and Lauren’s wedding at the beautiful Margaux venue in Madera, California. Their wedding day was filled with personality, tradition, and unforgettable joy, and we’re giving you a peek at the kind of images you can expect when you book your big day with us.

Getting Ready: The Anticipation

We begin each wedding day by capturing the quiet, meaningful moments before the ceremony. For Austin and Lauren, this meant Lauren’s bridesmaids reading their custom newspaper-style wedding brochure, a fun and stylish touch that set the tone for the day.

We also caught those emotional moments with Lauren and her mom, and over in the groom’s suite, Austin showed off his custom suit, looking every bit the part of a groom ready to marry his best friend.

These getting-ready shots are always sentimental and stylish, perfect for telling the full story of your day.

Bridal Party: Joy & Style

Next, we moved into bridal party portraits. The stunning lineup of bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girls, and ring bearers brought so much personality and fun to the day.

One of the standout moments? The first look with the father of the bride, a tender, tear-filled exchange that reminded us all of the heart behind every wedding.

Expect timeless, editorial-style group shots mixed with candid, joy-filled moments when we capture your crew.

Family Portraits: Legacy Captured

After the bridal party, we focus on family photos, a must for every couple. We captured beautiful portraits of Austin and Lauren with their parents, siblings, and close relatives.

Ceremony: Emotions in Motion

The Margaux’s outdoor ceremony space set the stage for one of the most heartfelt ceremonies we’ve ever captured. From the ring bearers and flower girls walking down the aisle, to Lauren’s father giving her away, the emotion was palpable.

Austin fought back tears (and may have lost that battle!) as Lauren walked down the aisle. The couple exchanged vows, joined hands in prayer, sealed it with a kiss, and turned to face their cheering guests as husband and wife.

Every moment was captured with care, from wide, scenic shots to close-ups of tear-filled eyes.

Bride & Groom Portraits: Golden Hour Magic

After the ceremony, we whisked Austin and Lauren away for golden hour portraits. This is one of the most romantic parts of the day, and we take full advantage of the soft evening light to create dreamy, cinematic images that you’ll treasure forever.

At The Margaux, the golden fields and soft breeze created the perfect backdrop for their newlywed glow.

Reception: The Celebration Begins

From the couple’s grand entrance to the final sparkler send-off, we were there to capture every joyful moment. Their first dance was full of laughter and love, followed by emotional dances with parents.

Speeches by the best man and maid of honor brought tears and laughs, and after cutting the cake, the bouquet and garter toss kept the energy high.

The dance floor stayed packed all night long, and we made sure to capture all the moves, laughter, and wild fun that comes with a great party.

The Details: Every Little Thing
