Larrissa and I probably canceled and relocated this session like three times due to weather and ice storms! It wasn’t until the day before Larrissa got the courage to say let’s go for it! The weather was supposed to clear up later in the day so after we got our In-n-Out we headed up to the most gorgeous National Park, Yosemite!!

Of course, it was raining like crazy in Oakhurst and our faith was tested but we kept going forward and sure enough, the clouds cleared and beautiful white snow covered everything! It was absolutely jaw-dropping! Like WHAT?! HOW CAN SOMETHING BE SO AMAZING?! And I got to spend the day with the best couple!!

They were friends for a while before Larrissa finally gave into going on a date with Donovan. His persistence won and thank God because look where they are now! Really, it’s all thanks to Larrissa’s mom for working with Donovan and putting in a good word. 😉

Donovan being a firefighter and Larrissa being a nurse, you could say they are both lifesavers! They have busy lives but similar work schedules which allow them to go on tons of fun adventures!! Donovan taught me that a truck is a gateway to ALL the other adventures such as getting a motor home, boat, dirt bikes, and many other awesome toys. To test out their motor home before they went to all the cool National Park adventures, he took Larrissa to Big Sur to “test” it. But really he planned on proposing to her on a cliff with the ocean in the background.

I love everything about this couple because they were so in love and willing to be adventurous and run around in the snow with me! 🙂 As we kept sharing about our lives, we realized we have a lot in common! That’s what happens when you talk about random things like not liking fruit! haha
